Application of machine learning to the infrastructure, and software spaces. Architecting and engineering all aspects of machine learning pipeline(s) used for research and development within the organization. Specific work in the areas of Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Topic Modeling, NLP, and more generally, Supervised and Unsupervised Learning.Design and engineering of production-ready big data and machine learning infrastructure from research on through to production application.Target a consumer machine learning approach for all work our team has performed. Developing best practices, workflows, and tooling encompassing rapid iteration from idea, to experimentation, on through to production application.Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring of machine learning research and technologies to all BU's through weekly reading groups, study groups, and overall evangelism of machine learning, establishing machine learning as a fundamental and core competency within the organization.

Research, architecture, design, engineering and documentation for the Plexxi Services Engine platform tying heterogeneous IT infrastructure environments together through the use of both Open Source and internally developed software through policy based actor model / control mechanisms. Up to and including prototyping proof of concepts and working with Engineering teams to implement production ready features within the Plexxi product.Assist in design and deployment of Plexxi Integrations CI / CD framework, enabling the first TDD effort within the company, through tools such as Jenkins, Atlassian Bamboo, and infrastructure automation tooling such as Puppet, Razor, Chef, Ansible, and infrastructure components such as Docker, KVM, Openstack, VMware, Plexxi, etc.Fill the roll of evangelist for the Plexxi product both internally and externally, helping to drive the understanding of Software Defined Networking and the benefits that this brings to IT as an industry.

Investigate technologies surrounding the Big Data and Infrastructure ecosystem, combined with analyzing customer requirements to help guide creation of product features pertaining to all software and hardware products both within Plexxi and respective external organizations, alike.Design, and prototype potential product integrations that span all facets of the Plexxi product, combined with any Big Data and/or Infrastructure product(s) spanning VMware, OpenStack, and even high level software products such as Hortonworks, Cloudera, MapR, and any other products that fall under the Big Data and/or Infrastructure umbrella.Define roadmap pertaining to both prototypes that have been created and features that are being requested by customers, driving value through all facets of infrastructure and software, running on that infrastructure, and build flexible and extensible platforms and tools.Manage partnerships for all companies through which Plexxi partnered in the Big Data ecosystem.
