Quality Technician
CurrentDuring my employment with Marvin I have worked in various areas:o Interim Lead Person role on Loading Docko Lead Person/Lift Driver for Warehouse overseeing an off-site Warehouse until it was moved back to the main plant.o Chosen as Quality Technician for Warehouse and earned ASQ certifications in that role (ASQ certified Quality Technician and Quality Improvement Associate).o Interim Team Leader in the Warehouse for over 9 months; was over different areas in the Warehouse during that time and worked with all areas of the plant in providing materials for production.o Completed the Alpha Associates Positive Employee Relation Practices Program for Team Leaders during the interim time.o Transferred to the Machining Department in January 2010; in Lead Person/Quality Technician roles until mid 2011.o Transferred to Incoming Supplier Quality where I have worked with suppliers, processing MRR’s, reviewing RMA’s, and supplier development PPAP's. Have participated in product design reviews and have worked with our Purchasing department to help get new product into the facility. o Have been an internal ISO auditor (for 2 years and participated in 7 internal audits) and familiar with the auditing process.o Have working knowledge of ICIM, Word, Excel, & Power Point.o Have worked on various continuous improvement teams/projects; have training/instructor experience, am a member of my facility’s tour guide team and have knowledge of and utilize 5S practices.o Currently working in our facility’s Quality Assurance Department in my Quality Technician role. My duties include material/part audits, layouts on parts to determine their conformance/non-conformance (with experience using Micro Vu & CMM measuring devices), testing of painted/stained materials for conformance to specifications, and when needed end of line verification/audits of completed door units.
