• Purchasing new and back catalog music and book titles from distributors, labels and independent artists for Rough Trade’s physical and web stores.• Liaising with distributors and labels to set up and promote releases of all varieties in Rough Trade’s online database.• Liaising with UK stores to bring in / send out import and export products, and with NYC receiving and shipping staff, creating and checking purchase orders for all incoming shipments, and ensuring all relevant information is updated and communicated.• Receiving music and related shipments at the Rough Trade store, including physically bringing boxes into the store from delivery vehicles, counting products in each shipment, digitally receiving products into our online database, stickering and shelving new products daily.• Assisting with product returns, including running reports for returnable backstock or surplus event products, pulling items from the shop floor and removing them from our digital database, packing items thoroughly and securely to be returned to distributors, photographing and sending reports of any damaged stock to distributors.• Maintaining and updating an intricate and extensive internal catalog database.• Providing exceptional customer service on every level, in person, on the telephone and online.• Assisting with coordination of paid in-store and online promotions for new titles.• Helping to arrange live in-store performances and signings, assist with event management (both customer service and crowd coordination) and providing sound tech for select performances.• Setting up and maintaining numerous Excel databases, including those for exclusive items, paid co-op releases, Record Store Day items, etc.• Arranging exclusive Rough Trade Exclusive vinyl pressings with labels and distributors.• Providing off-site sales and promotions assistance at record fairs and music festivals, e.g. Panorama, Oct Fest.• DJ-ing at various off-site events

I am a multi-instrumentalist composer based in New York City.As a person of deeply eclectic taste with many years of compositional experience, I have worked with a diverse range of clients including Paramount Digital Entertainment, Time Inc. and the London Borough of Hackney, composing music for film, theatre, web-based games and apps, as well as songs and remixes for bands.I work in an extremely broad range of musical styles, and am equally comfortable recording with organic or digital instruments - more often than not a fusion of the two.
