Edward Jerge is a seasoned finance professional accountant with extensive experience across diverse industries and reputable providers of professional accounting services as well as Big 4 public accounting firms. with a proven track record of innovative leadership and effective communication, Ed is recognized for his expertise in financial reporting, financial accounting advisory, and financial and operations management.The second half of his career has been in consulting working on assignments as varied as IPO’s(S-1 filings), acquistions, divestitures, Interim Controller, Interim Finance Director overseeing financial planning and analysis (FP&A). He also provided financial accounting advisory services including support of fraud investigations, restatement of financial statements), carve-outs and divestitures (including the spinoff of a business into a separate standalone public company). He spent the 1st half of his career supporting the office of the controllership for several public companies in the external reporting world of filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). This enabled him to have significant interaction with C-Suite executives. He has also held divisional finance leadership roles reporting to a division President.
