About Ed Mannix

My professional history began as a doctoral candidate at Indiana University, Bloomington in 1984 and continued as a Medical Scientist and Associate Professor of Physiology at Indiana University Sch of Med for 18 yrs (1987-2005), with expertise in Pulmonary and Cardiovascular pathophysiology. I designed and performed hypothesis driven clinical research studies and I taught numerous graduate level courses to medical students while assisting in the training of medical residents and pulmonary and cardiology fellows. Since joining the pharmaceutical industry as an MSL (2005-2019), I worked on diseases of various organ systems, including pulmonary, neurologic, endocrinologic and urologic. In addition, I gained significant oncology experience, as my team at Endo Pharmaceuticals supported therapeutics for prostate and bladder cancer. I have covered the Midwest and Great Lakes regions, going as far south as Tennessee, north to Michigan and Minnesota, east to Maryland and west to Iowa, and all states within that boundary. I have also covered the Northeast and West Coast of the US in an as needed situation.
