Since 1994 I’ve been involved in every aspect of the acquisition and development process - from due diligence and financial feasibility studies of proposed property acquisitions and development projects, to securing entitlements and permits from government agencies, assembling and coordinating teams of design consultants, and managing construction contractors to build high-quality assets for the owners I have represented. I am now serving as CEO for the development of a cognitive net-zero sponge luxury resort city in the US named Elisium.I started my career at The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, and later represented Wayne Huizenga on hundreds of millions of dollars of improvements at the Boca Raton Resort & Club, the Hyatt Regency Pier 66 & Marina, Bahia Mar Beach Resort & Yachting Center, and Naples Grande Beach Resort and Golf Club, as well as several other properties in the Boca Resorts Inc portfolio. I subsequently worked with The Blackstone Group of New York after their purchase of Boca Resorts Inc, and helped them expand their collection of resort properties after their acquisition of Wyndham International and subsequent creation of LXR Luxury Resorts. More recently I again worked with another Wayne Huizenga affiliated company, where I developed several select-service branded hotels with Marriott, Hilton and Hyatt flags. I’m a native of Miami and grew up involved in my family's construction company. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial & Systems Engineering from The University of Florida, and a Master of Science in Hospitality Management from Florida International University where I have also taught graduate level courses.
