• Established part numbers, bill of materials and work orders for the “start-up” company; and totally revamped the inventory structure of the established company. Established pricing and job/standard costs as well as.
• Developed annual budgets and forecasts for both companies, as well as maintain tight reporting schedules to DORMA GmbH Headquarters in Germany. Improved working capital and reduced DSOs from 62 days to 38 days at DORMA.
• Conversion of IT systems from MAS90 to Friedman for both locations.
• Worked closely with internal and external auditors, providing compliance documentation. Also completed tax documentation for federal and state agencies.

• Chief Financial OfficerLeading and implementing a “start-up” operation and position, the following activities occurred:
• Hired a staff of six with responsibilities for accounts receivable; credit and collections; accounts payable; inventory control; MIS; and reception. Responsible for development of training and creating job descriptions.
• Established business relations with Bank, inclusive of checking accounts, bank loan, and a line of credit account.
• With assistance from outside consultants a new computer, and computer software was purchased and installed.
• Created, developed and implemented an accounting system encompassing all aspects of the balance sheet and income statement.
• Prepared all budgeting and forecasting reports on timely basis.
