LaunchPad Learning is focused on improving reading levels and it is a technology product that measures and monitors the reading level of any child. The program includes a subscription to a Lexile test that sells for $39.95. The reading experts say that if we want our kids to read more books we need to supply books they like and books that are on their reading level, The problem is that no one really sells books based on reading level. In the LaunchPad program once we get a Lexile level and the kind of books a child likes we ship 2 paperback books every month for $11.99 that are on level and in the child's interest category. We meet the requirement of providing books a child likes that are on his/her reading level. Industry data shows that if children read on level they will improve at a greater rate than children who do not.We have also established a LaunchPad fundraising program where we will run the program as if it was a book fair but all of the activity will be managed on the Internet. The value of the fundraiser is that it is an academic fundraiser that will help to improve reading levels. It will raise funds for the school, It will not cost anything, and it is a fairly simple program to administrate. The LaunchPad website is: www.launchpadlearning.comOur video is:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=44JzDswV3V8
