Founder & CEO GreenTech HQ Co-founder & Chair Platinum Home Care Board member of County Wexford Chamber of Commerce Board member of Enniscorthy Community Alliance. 30+ years as an entrepreneur has given Ed an appreciation for people who love creating something from nothing for the benefit of many. Upon returning from working in the USA in 1992, Ed partnered with a gentleman called Michael Kearney and started several successful franchise businesses - the most recent being Snap Print and Design, CEX and Home Instead Senior Care (now employing 5,500+ people in Ireland combined) Having sold on the franchises over the last few years, Ed is focussing on a few ‘passion projects’. As a proud Wexford man, he decided to help create an innovative environment to help entrepreneurs and attract inward investment to create hundreds of worthwhile new jobs-allowing young people to live and work in Wexford rather than have to travel for employment. For many people around the world, he believes Wexford is a hidden gem that is yet to be discovered. It’s got everything going for it-a beautiful environment; indoor entertainment; outdoor activities and highly educated talent.GreenTech HQ Innovation HubWith the recent experience of living back in Wexford and seeing the potential of the region for renewable energy and sustainable development, Ed decided to invest in and start a Greentech HQInnovation Hub in Enniscorthy.
