I’ve been a proud leader and advocate for the California solar industry since 1978 and am dedicated to the development of solar energy through state and local policy. I’m currently the president/CEO of two California solar thermal companies, Aztec Solar Inc. and Elm Distribution, and have served the California Solar and Storage Association since 1984 in multiple roles and, currently, as president. I was honored to be named “Solar Man of the Year” in 1993.As an advocate, I’ve been involved in the formulation of legislation and policy advocacy on numerous solar energy-related issues at the state and federal level and have served on the Consumer Protection Committee, Election Committee, Federal Policy Committee and the NABCEP board of directors.
