Over the past 30 plus years, I’ve been involved in project evaluation, permitting, operations, and/or closure at more than 40 gold and silver mine operations and projects in ten countries. I've had the opportunity to work in many facets of mining – from tailings management, water balances and reclamation to workforce safety, public consultations, indigenous peoples and community foundations to name a few. I've met and worked with so many great people, where ever I've been. I am fluent in Russian and have lived, worked and travelled extensively in Russia and several former republics, going back to 1987. I hold a B.A. in Business Economics from Colorado College, a M.S. in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University, and was a graduate exchange student at Moscow State University in Russia.
