I have been designing Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic Systems since graduating from College in 1983. Primarily designing crane systems. I have also worked with third parties to integrate their products into cranes, e.g. Radio Remote Control Systems, Load Moment Indicators, Hydraulic or Electrical Control Systems, Hoist Drum Rotation Indicators, 3rd Wrap Limiters, etc. For the past 36 years I have been managing teams of engineers designing cranes, reach stackers, and forklifts.In addition I have extensive knowledge in creating and maintaining extensive bill of materials in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software systems. As well as designing and maintaining a Product Configurator in the ERP System for all our products.I have been the Engineering team lead for ISO9000 Certification Process as well as ISO9000 Internal Auditor.I have Extensive knowledge in 2D and 3D CAD Systems, specifically AutoCAD, SolidWorks and CATIA. I have created many 3D models and production drawings, including parts, weldments, electrical and hydraulic schematics, purchasing drawings and specifications, decals, installation and assemblies, design of Hydraulic Manifolds, Ergonomics, Safety Analysis, etc.I'm also responsible for the approval of all engineering releases as well as the EO Engineering Order system itself.I have been working for IRTC (a U.S. Defense Contractor) for the past 11 years and I'm very familiar with Department of Defense contracts, compliance, communications, testing, RFP, ECP processes, etc.
