Design, develop, instruct and evaluate a variety of "Welcome to College" & Business courses to community college students. The college intro class is entitled, "A Backpacker's Guide to Success in School & Life". We use Jon Krakauer's "Into Thin Air" & other sources to discuss foundational topics such as diversity, goal setting & perseverance, time management, teamwork, critical & creative thinking, & others skills vital to academic & career success. I also teach International Business and Introduction to Business courses focused on applying business principles to personal and professional situations using Socratic instruction, individual and group class discussions, and professional feedback based on my extensive experience working both internationally and with domestic Fortune 500 firms.

Work with non-native speaking students and professors from Russia, Bulgaria, Korea, Saudi Arabia, Brazil and other countries. Also work with refugees to provide them language and career skills to restart their lives in the U.S. In addition to helping familiarize these professors with American idioms and English grammar, our tutoring team helps review research papers and grants that totaled more than $2 million in 2012.
