As Head of Corporate Development, I create transformative partnerships within the shipping industry. These collaborations focus on improving the well-being of seafarers and their families across 200+ ports in 50 countries around the world.

At Family Action I led an incredible team of five who generate over £2 million in fundraised income to support some of the most vulnerable families across the UK. Working with some of the UK's biggest brands and companies across a wide range of sectors to create transformational partnerships.

As the Senior Philanthropy Manager, I was responsible for the generation of high-value gifts and transformational partnerships from philanthropists and companies within the Essex area. Unfortunately, after the local council elections and a change in administration, the project funding by the council was withdrawn and it couldn't continue.

At Family Action I led the development of the public-facing funding streams including high-value gifts through corporate partnerships and individuals as well as the events and community fundraising team. During the pandemic, I secured several new strategic partnerships that supported some of the most vulnerable families in the UK. Most notably, Family Action was the main strategic partner for Barclays COVID-19 response, securing a significant donation that enabled the rapid expansion of FOOD Clubs and providing £2.5million of immediate cash grants to vulnerable families in financial difficulty.
