About Ed Pederson

I spent 17 years at John Deere managing all of their Services spend before our largest supplier of contingent workers, Kelly, asked me to come build outsourcing solutions that I would have wanted to buy. My career at Kelly has allowed me to do just that by building out their entire product strategy. As Vice President of Product, I am creating a master architecture that connects the dots into our different solutions. I’m indoctrinating an “aim high, fail fast, and have a lot of fun along the way” mindset as my team exercises a structured and evangelistic approach, in an agile environment, to bringing new ideas to life. Kelly’s in a unique position to impact the world of work. We’ve been in it since the beginning, and our fast, agile, ‘color outside the lines’ operating principle is how we continue to approach innovation.I love living in that chaotic, gray space - in between the grand ambition and the tangible steps it’ll take to achieve it. A die-hard Freakonomics podcast listener who wants to explore the hidden side of everything, this changing paradigm of how fast work is getting done is exciting; I hope to inspire others to come along for the ride.
