Ed is Strategy Director at NIAXO, responsible for client engagement, marketing, forecasting, product strategy and business objectives.He is an alumni of the Royal Academy of Engineering's Shott Scale Up Accelerator. This is a twelve-month programme that develops, nurtures and strengthens the leadership capabilities of senior decision-makers in high-growth engineering and tech SMEs to scale their business to the next level. It empowers senior leaders of high-growth engineering and tech SMEs with the leadership skills and insight they need to scale successfully. The program is designed to prepare leaders in decision-maker roles to develop leadership skills and scale up their companies.Ed has been recognised by The Royal Academy of Engineering as an "Engineering Icon" in 2023, featuring on the RAEng / TFL Engineering Icons Tube Map (https://londonblog.tfl.gov.uk/2023/11/01/engineering-icons-tube-map/).He is Alumni of Cambridge University's Judge Business School, earning the GMCA. The Cambridge GMCA Certificate is a formal recognition of continuous professional development in the general management skills needed today to succeed in a transforming disruptive landscape.Ed is an advisory board member at Be The Business, a Government backed, not-for-profit supporting small and medium sized UK Based businesses to increase their productivity and performance.He is a mentor as part of the Mastercard Strive UK programme, providing mentoring sessions over a six month period with a small business leader. Strive UK was created to empower and support ethnic minority businesses across the UK. He is a voluntary mentor for the Help to Grow scheme, run by Enterprise Nation. Doing this he helps small businesses grow through one-to-one mentoring and supportIn addition, Ed is an Army Reserve Officer, serving in the Royal Signals.
