I met with the public to explain Social Security Law and Administrative actions. Screened individual for possible benefits under the Social Security Act,the Supplemental Security Act, and the Medicare and Medicaid Acts, made referrals to the Railroad Retirement Board. I was responsible for identifing and explaining overpayments to beneficaries and setting up repayment schedules. I identified several Social Security, Supplemental Security, and Medicare fraud cases which resulted in the recovery of several thousands of dollars to the appropiate trust funds.

Answered telephone calls requesting information on Social Security Law and Administrarive Actions. Was responsible for providing detailed information to the public on Social Security programs and Administrative actions. Provided basic information on both Medicare and Railroad Board programs.

Managed the processing of maintenance information for the First Marine Amphibious Force. Scheduled computer runs and the distribution of computerized information. Wrote Standing Operating Procedures and Technical Instructions for the use of information systems. Tested and implemented new systems releases to improve operational readiness.
