Part of a team responsible for the management of two data centres with over 300 servers:• Administration and implementation of Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy and DHCP• Management and Implementation of Windows server systems running Windows 2008/2008r2/2012• Patch Management of all servers using SCCM 2012 in accordance with Release Management Procedures.• Manage and Deploy applications, baseline and Commission servers using SCCM 2012• Monitoring Server environment using Microsoft Operations Manager 2012• Raise and implement Change Notifications to fix or improve infrastructure• Administration of windows 2008r2/2003 clusters for business critical applications e.g. SQL, SAP, EDRM• Implement and Manage IIS Servers hosting websites• Maintain and support NetApp Storage and backup solution• Maintain and support an enterprise backup solution (HP Data Protector)• Support of Business Critical systems some of which include SAP, EDRM, Framework I

Responsible for the day to day running of SCSM• Extension SCSM base forms using SCSM Authoring tool• Creation of bespoke Config Item classes. • Creation of forms for the above config items using Visual Studio• Extension of incident form to include new relationships• The creation of new type projections• Extension of the Data Warehouse to record all incident logs.• Extension of the Data Warehouse with the creation of Dimensions, Outriggers and relationships to record the information in the extra config item classes• Creation of an SCSM email solution to fulfil the needs of the organisation.• Creation of Incident Scheduling task• Creation of bespoke tasks• use Team Foundation Server to control change

2nd/3rd line support to over 8000 employees of Derbyshire County Council and over 350 Derbyshire schools covering the following technologies: XP/Vista/7, Office XP/2003/2007 desktop environment and Windows 2000/2003/2008/2008r2 server environment duties include:• Install/Migrate servers using Microsoft Windows 2003/2008/2008R2 into Derbyshire schools and Derbyshire County Council Behaviour Support sites• Manage Active Directory creating users, groups, pre-staging/adding computers into correct organizational units and creating/modifying group policy objects• Manage IIS Servers hosting School Websites Creating Virtual directories, setting up permissions and access rights• DHCP Administration creating/amending scopes• Write/Modify login Scripts using KIX or VBS to meet user requirements• Resolve DNS Issues • Wired and Wireless Network Administration in Derbyshire Schools• Install and support SQL 2005/2008 Environments• Setup email accounts and distribution lists on exchange server 2007• Implement/Monitor and support backup systems setup in schools using Symantec Backup Exec or Windows Server Backup (for 2008 servers)
