I am a resource geologist with over 30 years of international experience in estimation and reporting of Mineral Resources to recognised standards such as JORC and NI 43-101. Client projects include Technical Reports and mineral project due diligence reports for a variety of different mine types and commodities.I have been Chairperson of PERC (The Pan-European Reserves and Resources Reporting Committee) since May 2021, having served as Secretary from May 2018-2021. I was originally co-opted onto the PERC Committee in May 2014. I am currently one of the four representatives of the Institute of Geologists of Ireland on PERC. I have delivered several training courses on best practice in the assessment and reporting of Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Mineral Reserves in recent years.My experience is mainly for orogenic gold, volcanic-hosted massive sulphide (VHMS), porphyry copper and carbonate-hosted lead-zinc deposits; with lesser experience on a variety of other mineral commodities including heavy mineral sands, cement, iron, manganese and diamonds. I specialize in the assessment of technical risks related to Mineral Resource estimates; and also provide training in best practice for estimation and reporting of Mineral Resources.
