euroCRIS is an International Association with offices in The Hague, NL, that brings together experts in Research Information in general and Research Information Systems, so called CRIS, in particular. euroCRIS has currently 200+ members coming from 45 countries, mainly from within Europe, but also from some countries outside of Europe, including The US, Brazil, Canada and China. The main activity of euroCRIS is the development and curation of CERIF (Common European Research Information Format), an international standard data model for storage, management and exchange of research information. A second goal of euroCRIS is to promote the cooperation and exchange of expertise and knowledge between stakeholders in the research information ecosystem, by organising regular members meetings (twice a year) and conferences (every two years).

OPUS-College is a full-fledged Student, Course and Teacher information and registration system. As such it is an open source alternative for the big and expensive commercial products on the market. It is initially targeted at universities in developing regions for which it brings a low cost, but nevertheless professional solution for their student and course management.
