- My primary responsibility was the safe and efficient operation of Locomotives handling all types of trains.- The training of locomotive engineers. I was involved in the Kansas City Southern, “Train the Trainer Program,” a program designed to teach engineers how to effectively train engineer trainees, as well as remedial training for promoted engineers that require enhanced training for any reason, as deemed necessary by the carrier. I was one of 17 engineers system-wide to be selected to implement the program.- I was one of a handful of employees system-wide selected by the company for specialized safety training. The purpose of the program was to teach effective methods of motivating employees to work safely.

- Operations Manager of the Osage Railroad, WATCO's second railroad acquisition, and was involved from day one in the operations.- I was involved from day one with the launch of WATCO’s third railroad acquisition in the capacity of operations manager at Owasso, Oklahoma. I managed all Tulsa area switching for the SKOL; Interchange and freight classification operations of the SKOL and the Osage Railroad at Tulsa, OK, Port of Catoosa at Catoosa, OK, switching operations at Petrolite in Barnsdall, Oklahoma, and switching operations for Zinc Corporation at Bartlesville, OK.- I was a key player in WATCO's Locomotive Engineer Certification C.F.R. 240 Part 49 submission to the Federal Railroad Administration (F.R.A.), which was recognized by the F.R.A. as a “Model- Plan” for short-line and regional railroads.- Locomotive Engineer from spanning from Altus, Ok to Tulsa, OK (Lawton, Cyril, and OKC, Oklahoma.)
