As the lead lab technician, I was the 3rd shift’s QAC Lab team supervisor in charge of the testing and analysis of 500 ton to 1500 ton 19XR and 23XR Chillers using ARI run conditions at 100%, 75%, 50% and 25% load conditions for customer certifications, pre-witnesses and engineering audits. The conditions were E-CAT engineering program calculated and tested in our QAC Lab by us after production. These chiller tests were witnessed by, and shipped to customers all over the world. Documenting and recording the E - CAT based software testing performance data and collecting, processing and analyzing the data was my key job responsibility. My knowledge of high and low voltage systems, 50Hz and 60Hz configurations, generator and switchgear operations and electrical, electronic and mechanical trouble shooting was also one of my major function as well. My ability to read and troubleshoot electrical and electronic schematics and engineering blueprints to facilitate required adjustments and repairs were required as well as Chiller vessel vacuum processes, refrigerant reclaiming, and refrigerant charging of the newly manufactured and tested chillers to facilitate customer shipping requirements.

I worked with Carrier’s CCN systems, configuring and creating GUI trends to assist facility engineers to access various systems and equipment. I created a network of computers to access the CCN system in various areas of the facility on each floor. The Carrier CCN system controlled all environmental systems including lighting and chemical feed systems to boilers and condenser water circuit. I assisted our CCN contractor in writing chiller plant programs using best++ and C++ programming languages. I was responsible for ordering products and supplies, as well as contacting venders and contractors for various services. I maintained files and records for financial and equipment service proposes and required facility inspections. My job also consisted of public relations in dealing with tenants’ concerns and needs related to the facility and the Corporate Support Operation’s needs. Knowledge of pneumatics, electronics, high and low voltage systems, generators and switchgear systems, mechanical and hydraulic systems, schematics, blueprints and refrigerant circuits and processes were required.
