I provide web design services and publishing of web sites for small and medium sized companies and individuals. I use a collaborative process to create a web site presence that shows the strengths and focus of the company and reflects the character of the owner(s). I handle all of the details of the web site creation and publishing to the host. Currently I inform the client of the benefits of a strong mobile presence as a huge number of web searches are made from mobile phones. If the client does not have a domain, I assist with the name selection and securing the domain.I also provide SME services for proposal writing involving document management, document imaging, archival imaging and project management. Depending on the client's location I can work on site or remotely.

District Of Columbia

Provided Management of tasks on a contract with the Library of Congress. The tasks included scanning of over 40 million index cards, Digitization of DC newspapers in the National Digital Newspaper Project (NDNP) for four years. Scanned papers of LoC Librarians in a Librarian Letterbook Project. Scanned and custom cropped Civil War and Presidential Papers from microfilm over multiple years. Participated in a project to OCR selected index cards that were scanned during a major project. Additional duties included management of conversion projects on the customer site: Two significant projects were completed – one for the Federal Mine Safety and Health Review Commission (FMSHRC) which involved two remote sites (Pittsburgh and Denver). It required a complex indexing and data capture component. The second was for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) retirement files. The two most significant tasks were the preparation and reordering of the files before scanning and a highly formatted file for input to the customers retrieval system.

Leverage my experience in records management and imaging dating back to my career in the USMC. Provide ERM consulting and web design / web site management services to a varied mix of clients.

Provided Imaging and Records Management expertise for project management, proposal preparation and pricing.

Operated the National Tracing Center (NTC) for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms under a $32 million contract. Converted paper files received from out of business firearms dealers to microfilm, indexed material for retrieval, traced weapons used in the commission of a crime. Developed applications to aid in management of data and operational improvement. Served as electronic imaging consultant and electronic records management (ERM)to the NTC for development of an imaging system and for the conversion of 350+ million images to digital images for use in the imaging system. Responsible for maximum support to the NTC by operational and fiscal management. Managed 300+ personnel.
