My professional career in the health and fitness industry spans the past 30 years as Vice President of Fitness Services and Product Development at Town Sports International, a New York, Boston, Philly, and Washington DC, totaling 165 multipurpose gyms. During my tenure at TSI, I assisted the company in the design, construction, selection and installation of equipment for all clubs. I have further assisted the TSI team in the creative development of many programs and systems.In addition to my work with TSI, I have been instrumental in various other fitness systems and processes such as, LBS, Lean Body Systems, the roll out of over 100 Xpress circuits, the development of the FitMap (a training protocol that helps both trainers and members design safe and effective workout programs based on individual ability and physical readiness), and the roll out of UXF functional training zones at126 clubs. I have also worked with most of the commercial fitness industries OEM's and have been instrumental in innovation in cardio and strength machines in clubs today. I hold two patents, The Back Smart lower body trainer and the Skate machine by Nautilus. I have also served on many industry advisory boards with the most recent being a co-chair of the FITC, Fitness Industry Technology Council.
