The result was a swift promotion after graduating with my master's degree to a leadership role, partnering with executives to improve operations nationalwide.Over the years, I have transformed supply chain operations, production capacity, distribution, and business development. I attribute the successes of these teams to my patience in determining possibilities beyond the hurdles and ability to imbue my passion for performance in my team.One of my favorite recent transformations was that of a customer – a non-U.S. manufacturer looking to improve product offerings in the U.S. After we aligned operations with certification requirements, they expanded, growing revenue for both companies.This story is an illustration of how I take ownership, use process as a tool to manifest results, and take calculated risks while operationalizing ideas and strategy.Leading teams in situations where I had a lot of latitude allowed me to learn from my mistakes. Managing processes in organizations with tighter reigns helped me find a balance as an effective manager.Along the way, one of my favorite leadership tasks was coaching individuals to elicit their strengths that fit the group need and fostering ownership of owner/leader vision.Today, I’m looking for another organization who is ready to clean up processes and re-engage employees so their talented teams can deliver repeatable successes – create innovative products, distribute them to customers on time, close more sales – and add more value to the bottom line.
