Ed is owner and CEO of Nordic Tipi Limited, which is the parent company of Tentipi UK & Ireland Limited, Tentipi Event Tents Inc. and Tentipi Event Tents Pty. Each of these companies holds sole distribution rights to sell Tentipi Event tents in their designated geographical territories. Between them the group holds sole distribution rights for the UK, Republic of Ireland, the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Nordic Tipi Limited also sells to many other countries in South America and APAC.Prior to co-establishing Nordic Tipi in 2012, Ed founded (2007) and ran World Inspired Tents, one of the first, and most well established tipi rental businesses in the UK. During Ed’s tenure World Inspired Tents won numerous industry awards, including overall ‘Best Wedding Tent Supplier in the UK’…. on 2 occasions. In 2018 Ed and his wife Donna sold World Inspired Tents, allowing him to focus on the growth of his international sales businesses.Ed graduated from Staffordshire University in 1991 with a BA Honours degree in Geography. After graduation Ed spent 15 years working in sales and marketing for TDK Lambda, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of electronic power supplies. He rose to the position of Divisional manager for UK sales, before leaving in 2006 to set up his own company.
