Marketing Operations Specialist
CurrentBy showcasing my knowledge of and passion for marketing data, automation, and operations as Phase2's Marketing Analyst, I was promoted to Marketing Operations Specialist! In my current role, I continue to grow the company's internal marketing analytics functions while expanding into more facets of the entire marketing strategy and operations. This includes supporting the execution of Phase2's robust ABM campaigns with Salesforce analytics and reporting, co-leading the operation and use of HubSpot Sales and Marketing Hubs, as well as strategizing and executing the marketing team's growing demand generation and lead nurturing systems. Reporting to the Director of Demand Generation, I create paid and organic digital ad campaigns, track results, adjust strategy to optimize conversion rates, and strive to bring the right people to the top of the funnel. I am the go-to member of the growing demand gen team for building out our marketing automation dreams using HubSpot's Marketing and Sales capabilities paired with a strategic Salesforce integration. I'm passionate about finding ways to automate, streamline, and ethically incorporate AI to help fuel our marketing engine.I am also a key contributor to Phase2's DEI Guild. I represent the company's Marketing department on the guild's Steering Committee - a group of representatives from across the company responsible for advancing the DEI goals Phase2 has committed to achieving as an organization.
Marketing Analyst
During my last month of graduate school, I was hired to start in this role at Phase2. I began my full-time career and finished my degrees simultaneously, with much-appreciated support from my school and work leaders! As the inaugural and sole Marketing Analyst at Phase2, I was responsible for studying, analyzing, and reporting on external market conditions and internal initiatives to optimize efforts toward the company goals. My projects included forecasting and monitoring sales trends, researching consumer and competitor behavior, preparing and presenting reports to management, summarizing and visualizing data effectively, and storytelling with data. The project I'm most proud of was the reimagining, architecting, and deploying of the company's quarterly CSAT survey.
Director Of R&D And Strategic Planning
The purpose of the Sport and Entertainment Management Association (SEMA) is to provide graduate level students in USFs Sport and Entertainment Management Program with additional volunteer, leadership, and fundraising opportunities in the USF and greater Tampa community. As the Director of R&D and Strategic Planning of SEMA, I worked to develop, execute, and mature the strategy around planning and communicating SEMAs goals and objectives. I regularly facilitated project reviews and reports to assess business alignment and identify areas for improvement.A large responsibility of mine was to use research and case studying to keep the group close to our mission of enhancing the development of young professionals seeking to enter the Sport and Entertainment Industry.Tying in my previous work in marketing, I collaborated with the Director of Marketing & Community Involvement to develop new marketing plans to be implemented throughout the school year.
Consumer Intelligence Fellow
As a student in USFs Vinik Sport & Entertainment Management graduate program, I had the opportunity to gain real-life sports business analytics experience in this fellowship role. After a competitive interview process, I was brought on to the business strategy and analytics department of the Tampa Bay Lightning organization. My primary responsibility as the Consumer Intelligence Fellow for the Tampa Bay Lightning was to collect and use data to determine market and business insights to support various departments’ decisions. I contributed to the design, development, and distribution of data analysis, reporting, and insights for departments ranging from retail to partnerships.
Marketing & Analytics Manager
Hanlon Acoustical Ceilings provides installation services for standard & specialty ceilings, soundproofing insulation, and wall panels throughout Florida. Before I joined the team, the company implemented a very limited marketing strategy. I became responsible for building a digital and grassroots marketing strategy from the ground up and was eventually tasked with revamping the sales and analytics process. My work focused in these three areas: 1) Maintaining the company’s CRM, sales, and marketing program. During Summer 2020, I transitioned the company to a robust CRM, sales, and marketing program through HubSpot. This was a complete overhaul of the bidding process in order to better track data and improve efficiency of the team. I onboarded the team to the new platform and developed a comprehensive training course of the HubSpot system for future new employees.2) All things digital with a focus on SEO, lead generation, and increasing reach. I kept the website up to date by posting and promoting available jobs, making cosmetic changes, creating copy, etc using WordPress. I utilized Hootsuite to monitor and plan social media action on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Yelp.3) I worked to develop an analytics program to monitor and improve the sales process. I conducted detailed weekly and monthly analytics reports and visualized insights for a team of project managers. After implementing the descriptive and prescriptive analytics, the volume of bid output and projects won steadily increased.
Research And Analytics Intern
WISE - Women in Sports and Events - is the leading voice and resource for women in the business of sports. I had the opportunity to work with the group as a research and analytics intern during Summer 2020.The two leading women of my graduate program - Dr. Harrolle and Dr. Wells - are also the leading and founding women of the Tampa Bay chapter of WISE. As a research and analytics intern, I worked closely with Dr. Wells to gather data, analyze trends, and prescribe actionable steps to further empower women in the business of sports. The project I'm most proud of was an audit of women's representation in the sport business landscape. I dug through many gigabytes of data to find stories to highlight. I then collaborated on a research document illustrating the findings and visualizing the data to best tell its story. The combination of tedious (but fun for me) data work and story telling of an issue I'm passionate about was very rewarding.
Social Media Manager & Graphic Designer
As the Social Media Manager, I utilized Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat to increase brand awareness, sales, attendance, and interaction. I created graphic designs for digital and print using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. I live-tweeted the Ice Bulls home games and stayed engaged with fans at all times.
Digital Marketing Manager
Color Clutch is a beauty start-up focused on innovative storage solutions for nail polish.I interned for Color Clutch during my first year at USF. At the time, the start-up business was very new and couldn't hire yet. Fast forward two years, the CEO reached out to me and said the business is doing great and they are ready to add more people to the team. That's where I came in! I was brought in to manage the digital side of the business. I implemented a digital marketing strategy that included email marketing, blog content, social media (with a focus on Instagram), and influencer relations. My greatest accomplishment here was creating an influencer campaign called #TakeoverTuesday. A different influencer in the nail polish world would “take over” our Instagram story each Tuesday and share how they use our product. This was a huge success and led to thousands of new followers and exposure, further leading to weekly bumps in sales.

Marketing Communications Intern
The Muma College of Business is one of 14 colleges within the University of South Florida. I got this internship opportunity through the power of social media. The Director of Communications and Marketing for the college noticed me through my interaction with the Muma College of Business' Twitter account. Public Relations And Communications Intern
The Hillsborough County Bar Association is one of the largest voluntary bar associations in Florida with a membership of more than 4,000 attorneys, judges, and legal professionals. I was introduced to this internship by a professor of mine that used to work as the Hillsborough County Bar Association's Communications Director. After a semester in her class, she shared that she thought I would be a great fit for the association's communications internship. I began the internship the next semester. As the PR and communications intern I worked on media writing, graphic design, event logistics and promotion, and social media management. I assisted with website and weekly e-newsletter updates, wrote news releases, drafted short articles, and proof-read content for HCBA's Lawyer magazine. I created graphics and content for posting on seven social media accounts, the website, e-newsletter updates, and Lawyer magazine.I assisted with event logistics including event set-up, guest check-in, and photography. The marketing team worked together to design and distribute an annual Herd of Thunder poster to over 200 high schools across Florida.
