Delivered political and economic analysis of Taiwan, in particular regarding relations with China and the resilience of Taiwanese economy to the global economic crisis. Strengthened links with a range of political, academic and business contacts. Implemented strategy to influence Taiwanese perceptions on climate change leading to launch of first ever joint scholarship scheme with Taiwanese business sector.
