The Morris Inn was built in 1952 as a 92 room hotel designed as an amenity to entertain dignitaries and potential benefactors of the University. In 2012 the University embarked on a major overhaul of the facility which was completed in 9 months. The hotel reopened as 150 room facility with 3 outlets and a new grand ballroom. I was primarily responsible for the financial reporting and analysis of this operation during the past 14 years to include preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgeting and forecasting. I also was charged with systems design and troubleshooting as well as operational duties as dictated by the needs of the operation. In addition to the hotel, these responsibilities extended to the 20,000 sq ft Notre Dame Conference Center.
