Oversaw the operational implementation of the program while supporting the management of relationships with all key stakeholders, including, the Host City, Sponsors, Media Rights Licensees and Agencies.Managed the development of the scope, design and technical requirements for the event and worked closely with Host City to discuss and support the implementation of requirements.

City Manager'S Office/Office Of Economic Development

Responsible for the successful management and production of San Jose's two largest Holiday signature events - Christmas in the Park and the San Jose Holiday Parade. These annual events brought a yearly surge in significant economic activity to the downtown San Jose core area. As Event Director for both events and Executive Producer of the live two-hour televised broadcast, on the regional NBC station, both events received 70+ international awards for event production from 2003 to 2011.

Program manager, responsible for the management of a citywide marketing and events program, with a million dollar plus annual marketing and events budget. Responsible for the development of a new citywide activity guide for residents of San Jose, communications management for the department, management of major volunteer programs and the management and coordination of more than 100+ events a year.

Program manager responsible for the management of two major City signature events, coordination of city services, park permits and park usage for all large-scale privately produced events at the City's regional parks. Contract manager for San Jose Municipal Stadium (San Jose Giants) and the San Jose Arena'a park operations and maintenance.

Responsible for the development and growth of this international award-winning signature San José holiday event, from a three week event to a five week event attracting half a million visitors, community engagement with over 200,000 volunteer hours a year and a ten fold increase in revenue development to more than a half million dollars a year. Responsibilities for all facets of the program including day-to-day operations, board management, financial management, marketing, brand development, sponsorship and program development. Worked closely with the redevelopment agency, downtown association, city and county departments and implemented economic development initiatives.Developed extensive community programming with schools, non-profit agencies, businesses and community organizations.

A live televised parade on an O & O NBC Regional station, with multiple rebroadcasts also on PBS and an ethnic language network. Known as "One of the Top 25 Parades in the US" (named by IFEA and USA Today), portions were broadcast in 4 different languages. The event featured national celebrities, giant helium balloons, brassy bands, beautifully decorated floats and spectacular entertainers. Major entertainment partners included the Walt Disney Company, Cirque du Soleil, the Miss Universe Organization and Paramount and Cedar Fair Amusement Park divisions.

Citywide Sports Program

Responsible for the management and supervision of a Citywide sports program, including revenue generation, budget management and program development. Coordination and initial program development and launch of major sports special events including Bud Light Triathlon, Coors Light Duathlon, Bud Light Pro Beach Volleyball and Hoop It Up programs in San Jose.
