As a bilingual educator, curriculum designer, and project manager, I am passionate about creating equitable, inclusive learning experiences that empower educators and inspire learners. With over a decade of experience in education and professional development, I have honed my skills in instructional design, content creation, and event management to drive meaningful impact.I began my career as a bilingual teacher in Title I schools, where I dedicated eleven years to fostering academic success for underserved students. This experience shaped my commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB), which I now champion in every role. Later, as a Program and Implementation Specialist, I traveled extensively to provide professional development for teachers, advancing computer science education in schools nationwide. My bilingual communication skills allowed me to build strong relationships and support educators effectively in both English and Spanish.Currently, I lead as Manager of Content Development at BootUp, where I design innovative curricula and resources that align with educational standards and grant requirements. I specialize in integrating computer science and computational thinking into elementary education, empowering teachers with accessible, student-centered content. My work extends to developing professional learning materials, ensuring educators have the tools to succeed.In addition to my educational background, I hold a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in distance learning and a project management certification from Cornell University.
