As a 35+ year professional musician, Ed has worked as a pianist/keyboardist in various music genres, and since 2022 focuses on writing, performing and producing original music soundtrack scores for independent film, television and media-related projects. He lives and works remotely across several cities in the US, spending most of his time in Sheffield (aka "The Shoals), Alabama while also splitting time between Hilo, Hawaii and Woodland, Washington.Ed is currently involved with several film/streaming productions and independent movies, with several slated for release later in 2023, including a kid's movie "Kangaroo Kids" produced by Richmond Family Films, "Murder at Midnight" a short film, and yet-to-be-titled sci-fi film by Minnesota film producer Caleb Hawn.PREVIOUSFor over the past 30+ years, I've worked as a freelance musician, as a pianist and keyboardist both as a soloist and with different groups. My playing experience has spanned working on "The Love Boat" and other cruise lines, to working with bands in LA, New Orleans, Seattle, Portland and Europe. I've had the opportunity to perform with many different artists as a backup band member and most recently was a member of The Northwest's Favorite Party Band, 5 Guys Named Moe.I still play on occasion and enjoy playing jazz piano with a trio and by myself. I've enjoyed my many years as a professional musician and I am most fortunate for the ability to have a creative outlet for expressing myself and my music.
