I have over 25 years of progressive IT Portfolio/Program and Project management experience delivering systems and software meeting the requirements, design, development, testing, and schedules of each. I have utilized Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban, FDD, TDD, EP) along with Hybrid and waterfall to organize and drive Initiatives and Programs to successful delivery since 2004. I’ve valuable experience in multiple industry areas: Government, Education, LMS, Banking/Fraud-detection, and Cloud and Infrastructure management. I collaborate with peers, staff, vendors, and others to determine the right questions and then in getting the right data to drive strategic and tactical direction for progressive solutions to be developed. I enjoy developing strategic and tactical roadmaps, and Agile Release Train scheduling, while deriving the key requirements and success criteria to clearly define the solutions needed. Directing appropriate strategic technologies, monitoring progress, optimization of budgets, and staff engagement has made these efforts successful.Cloud computing brings a new opportunity to enterprises and I have worked through a complicated migration from on-premises to the Azure cloud and subsequent optimization with the Department of Education. I know how to take advantage of the pros and how to avoid some of the cons of Cloud platforms, clearly communicating these key elements to executive management, stakeholders, and development/support staff.I enjoy the challenges that this work brings, and I use each effort to learn new skills and gain new insights into technologies and their effective use.
