After serving 10 years as the Associate Pastor, I moved into the Sole Pastor role (upon the retirement of the Senior Pastor). My main responsibilities are preaching, teaching, and leading the ministry team at a 158 year old congregation.

A Christian men's ministry that sought to help all men become True Men of God. Through Bible Studies, books, outdoor events, and devotions, men found out how their relationship with God can give them a life of significance and purpose and positively affect their role as husband, father, brother and son.

I was the producer and host of "Visions of Light" - a Christian Contemporary Music radio show and "The Classical Stream" - a classical music and commentary internet radio program.

I preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ nearly every weekend. I led Bible studies for youth, "seasoned" citizens, and men. I was the lead servant of a staff of 15 teachers and ministers.

I served as the chapel leader for the independent league baseball club Kenosha (WI) Mammoths for the 2003 season (they moved to Springfield, MO in 2004). I would be available to talk with players, coaches and wives/girlfriends during the week. I led chapel services for the players and coaches at every Sunday home game. I also prayed and talked with the umpires before the Sunday games.In 2004 I moved to the Northern League coordinator position. It was my responsibility to secure chapel leaders for all the teams in the Northern League and support them with prayer, materials, and talk with them each week via email / phone.

As Senior Pastor to the almost 1200 souls my responsibilities were as follows:Preach the Word of God and administer the sacraments. Maintain regular personal devotional life and Bible study. Maintain healthy, balanced relationship with family. Maintain the Confessional Standards of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. Authorize all official acts of the parish. Provide for meaningful worship services through planning and cooperation. Oversee all parish programs. Supervise the activities of the parish staff to coordinate and accomplish the objectives set forth by the congregation. Ensure that counseling is provided for those in need by self, staff members or outside agencies. Stimulate or provide for the long range planning for the parish. Provide for church office procedures, which include a program of soul accounting and record keeping. Work with the Board of Stewardship and Communicant Member Education to develop the stewardship potential of the congregation. Be responsible for the confirmation programs of the congregation. Work collegially with the Principal of the Christian Day School.

As Associate Pastor my responsibilities and pastoral duties were to preach twice a month, leading liturgy otherwise, visit the sick and shut-in, teach the Wednesday Morning Bible Class, teach the Public School Confirmation Class half the year and teach either the 7th or 8th grade Day School Confirmation Class. I also preached or led liturgy at all funerals. I also performed weddings as assigned by the Senior Pastor. I was also to work directly with the school ministry and staff in whatever way they needed a pastor to work with them.

My responsibilities and pastoral duties were much the same as above except for those that deal with the Christian Day School. Christ Lutheran was a smaller parish, only about 300 souls.

At KFUO I served as the on-air announcer in the afternoons on the AM. I was the engineer for the Daily Bible Study program and Issues, Etc, an afternoon Christian talk show hosted by Don Matzat. I also did the 7 am to 10 am "morning drive" show. I was the production engineer for "Woman to Woman" with Phyllis Wallace until she moved over to Lutheran Hour Ministries. I produced several pre-recorded radio programs and produced and recorded radio promotional spots. At KFUO-FM "Classic 99" I was the on-air announcer midnight to six Saturday and Sundays, planning the classical music aired. I also produced and recorded commercials and special pre-recorded programs and assisted at live, remote productions.Producer and Host - The Classical Stream, BostonPete Internet RadioI produce the radio show entirely on my computer and upload to the servers of BostonPete internet radio. I write the scripts and pick the music played.
