I ran a small team of 3-4 developers that built a real-time data platform to support marketing and CRM teams as well as producing financial and behavioural reports and allows the Skybet International team to meet many regulatory requirements. The platform mainly uses AWS Lambda, Kinesis, RDS, S3, DynamoDB and Cloudformation and is written in Clojure.

OrderHarmony was a start-up, writing a SaaS system in Clojure to manage stock and order processing, allowing small businesses to get up and running in a very short time with a self-service approach. It was hosted in AWS and handled stock control, purchasing and order processing with multi-currency, multi-warehouse and multi-shipment functionality.

Developing and maintaining a voluminous site for unsigned bands in Grails / Tomcat / MySQL, and working on projects for a major car company.

Rockshore is a very young company that is fast making a name for itself in the travel/air-traffic control sector. We are implementing a complex event processing system for a major airport on the JBoss ESB platform. This requires a large number of integrations with third parties in the industry with information we need, including live radar data feeds, flight plan web-services and web-based interfaces for airline operators. The cool poster-boy part of the app is a google-maps alike for the airport with live radar data plotting the positions of the planes. We have plans to expand the UI onto mobile devices. Obviously, security is a big concern.

In my short time at PlusNet, I worked on several components of their platform. The PHP/MySQL based system has grown organically during the life of the company. I started development of a significant piece of restructuring work, the need for which was raised by a bug report I was assigned to fix. I also worked closely with others in the team to build a new piece of functionality for the billing system that we rolled to beta on my last day.

Whilst working at TechnoPhobia, I have specified, developed and deployed software to a high standard.
