After graduating high school Ed earned his degree in Business Administration at Bryant University in Smithfield, RI. Ed moved to Hollywood California to pursue a career in film & television. He worked in event production on various movie sets & also assisted on red carpet events on camera. After a few years in Hollywood he moved back home to start his own event production company 4zero1 Entertainment, named after the Rhode Island’s area code. 4zero1 produced hundreds of A List celebrity events in Rhode Island with celebrities like Steve Aoki, Nick Cannon, LMFAO, DJ Pauly D, DJ AM, Travis Barker, The Bella Twins, Dave Bautista, Chris Brown, TPain, Aubrey Oday, Holly Madison and many more. Ed & his team produced The New England Nightclub & Beverage Expo, The One Providence New Years Eve Ball for the city of Providence & countless charity balls, upscale events & galas throughout New England over the last decade. Ed is a co founder of The Thirsty Beaver Pub & Grub which now has four locations in Rhode Island. He is also a cofounder of a vibrant RI start up www.RestauRent.com. Ed served multiple terms as a Cranston City Councilman & was recognized as a bipartisan leader who led the charge on advocacy for small businesses throughout the pandemic in the state of Rhode Island. He stepped down from City Council to save The Historic Park Theatre in his hometown & he was honored to be asked by Governor Daniel McKee to assist in his gubernatorial transition.
Ed has helped raise millions of dollars for various local non profits & is the cofounder of Cranston Cares. Their 501c3 mission is “to provide equitable improvement throughout the entire Cranston community as they look to continue to improve their great city by deeds not words”.Cranston Cares has rehabbed various basketball courts, dog parks, and neighborhood parks throughout the city of Cranston and over the last decade. Working closely with The RI Dream Center & The Mae Organization for The Homeless Ed continues to help feed & support thousands of people in need every year. As a board member on The Cranston West Alumni Association Ed & the community raised nearly a million dollars to renovate the Alumni Auditorium & Alumni Pavilion. Most Recently, Ed was part of the production team that advocated & successfully brought Good Burger 2 to the state of Rhode Island with Nickelodean & Paramount which premiered November 22 on Paramount Plus.
