Project PAVE was established in 1986 in response to a number of violent incidents in the Denver area. Community leaders came together to create a framework for intervening early in the lives of youth and families exposed to relationship violence and to promote alternatives to violence in youth relationships. PAVE has a long history of providing innovative, evidence-based, and culturally-responsive services for survivors and their families in our community. It is the promise of our mission that youth who receive services and education are less likely to continue cycles of violence later in life.

Now exceeding $38 million in funding and distribursements, the Left Behind Workers Fund gives grants in Colorado to recently unemployed workers unable to access Federal assistance programs. Our neighbors, co-workers, and friends are vital to our economic fabric. For example, workers in our hotels and restaurants support our large recreational tourism industry. Across Colorado, tens of thousands of such individuals are now without work due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The unemployed who are not eligible for unemployment insurance or almost any other federal benefit and will not receive stimulus checks.
