*Completed a detailed petrophysical evaluation of a Grayburg-San Andres oil field in the Permian Basin, mapped hydrocarbon pore volume, and calculated OOIP and remaining oil in place resulting in the identification of 150 MMBO secondary recovery target for development via infill drilling and waterflooding.*Actively engaged in reservoir characterization of a large CO2 flood field in NW Colorado and worked with a multidisciplinary team to identify numerous workover, recompletion, and sidetrack opportunities.

•Evaluated Wolfcamp unconventional potential in and adjacent to Ozona Field, Crockett County, Texas in the Ozona Uplift and southern Midland Basin using TOC and vitrinite reflectance data, the mapping of net pay thickness, and calculation of original oil in place (OOIP).*Geosteered Eagle Ford wells in South Texas and participated in well planning for pad horizontal drilling.Completed detailed reservoir characterization and 3-D geological model study of a Wyoming oil reservoir which resulted in project approval and implementation of a highly successful CO2 flood.•Screened the reservoir geology of multiple Powder River Basin oil fields in Wyoming for CO2 flooding which contributed to the acquisition and successful flooding of an old giant oil field.•Served as production geologist for a number of waterflood fields and two small CO2 flooding projects in Oklahoma, Kansas, and West Texas.•Completed detailed reservoir characterization study of a Chester incised valley oil reservoir in western Kansas and drilled 10 infill wells for water flood implementation.•Drilled and completed numerous infill wells in three Clear Fork waterflood fields in the Permian Basin of west Texas.•Drilled successful infill wells in shallow gas reservoirs in southwestern Kansas.•Drilled and completed six successful Lower Morrow oil wells in a western Kansas field and identified 21 additional infill locations based on detailed mapping and reservoir characterization work of an oil field with waterflooding potential.

•Identified infill drilling and recompletion targets in various reservoir zones for wells in fields located in Oklahoma, west Texas, and California through detailed log correlation, mapping, and investigations of well production/completion histories.•Proposed six well recompletions, four development wells, and a subsalt exploration prospect in an offshore Gulf of Mexico faulted salt dome oil and gas field for a large independent company and its partner.

•Increased production by 425 BOPD and 1,800 MCFGPD by drilling, evaluating, and completing two Silurian/Devonian development wells in a large oil field on the Nesson Anticline in North Dakota.•Increased production from a naturally-fractured carbonate reservoir by 260 BOPD and 1,700 MCFGPD by drilling two dual lateral horizontal wells.•Drilled eight new 10,300-ft. wells as a result of integrating 3D seismic and data from 500 existing wells.•Saved $7,000,000 in dry hole drilling costs by identifying unfavorable locations associated with wrench faults as delineated on structure and isopach maps made using Petra software.•Contributed to successful asset rationalization program by evaluating a deep-water sandstone reservoir in Oklahoma.•Completed detailed log correlations for reservoir characterization of a north-central Texas carbonate oil reservoir for the purpose of assessing additional development potential.•Discovered two paleostructures with potential reserves of 750,000 BO and 1 BCFG each through detailed mapping and geological interpretation. •Mapped net pay, porosity, and permeability of sandstone reservoirs in two adjacent fields for a reservoir characterization study devised to improve asset management practices.•Quantified vertical and lateral extent of reservoir-quality rock in two deep sandstone reservoirs with total gas reserves of 175 BCF to assist in long-term asset management.•Developed a multiwall dolostone oil reservoir in the New Mexico portion of the Permian Basin with many wells producing at a top allowable of 350 BOPD.

•Identified horizontal drilling prospect with proven reserves of 200,000 BO as a result of evaluating three cores from a deep carbonate oil reservoir. •Improved business unit results through the successful drilling, completion, and stimulation of many wells by describing 15,000 feet of core and thin sections from over 100 wells.•Collaborated with team members to gain partner approval for a successful unitization project by authoring geologic portion of the technical report.
