Lead the Business Development, Sales, Customer Engagement, Advertising, External Communications, Reputation Building and Contracting for TAE Aerospace.

Manage the rotary and patrol military accounts for the nominated CAE regions, including, but not limited to, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan and Brunei. Identify, develop and win new business, including training centre capacity sales, within the assigned countries. Develop industry and customer relationships within the region to support opportunity capture and growth in accordance with the regional strategy.

Manage the Military account for the nominated CAE region. Identify and win business within the assigned Military sectors. Develop and lead capture strategies for identified product and training services programs. Develop industry and customer relationships within the region to support growth in accordance with strategic direction.

Responsible to the Managing Director for the identification, capture, management, reporting and execution of all CAE Australia’s business development and sales activities within the Military and Civil domains. Direct the development of plans and strategies for the identification and capture of new business and entry to new markets in accordance with corporate strategy.Direct the development and preparation of responses to tenders that promote CAE’s capabilities, qualities, and values. Establish and retain corporate relationships to support existing and new business opportunities. Identify and develop opportunities for merger and acquisition for Board consideration.

Management of operations and conduct for all current and future Army Aviation training. Manage and lead a team of 107 military and civilian staff responsible for the administration, conduct, and support of aviation training within a Registered Training Organisation.

Lead project pilot, Project Manager and Site Manager for the acquisition and operation of the first military LEVEL 5 Rotary Full Flight & Mission Simulator (FFMS). Managed Commonwealth team for Service and Civil accreditation and lead the design and integration of the synthetic training for Army Black Hawk training. Test and Evaluation manager for the full suite of synthetic training devices acquired for the Aussie Tiger. Seconded to Industry for consecutive acquisition programs; embedded within civilian supplier’s organisations for liaison and troubleshooting of technical and programmatic issues.

Subsequent to qualification, employed as an operational Army pilot, specialised in Special Operations and maintenance test duties. Responsible for the delivery of operational flight training to Army Black Hawk pilot candidates.
