I am a volunteer with the ARC for the Western Carolina Region to assist in Disaster Relief operations. Still taking classes for other operations with the ARC.

Phoenix Plastics, LLC is a plastic recycling company that has been servicing and supplying the plastic scrap industry for 30 years. We are a plastic scrap exporter as well as a domestic plastic recycler. We are a recycler of polystyrene scrap, polycarbonate scrap, acrylic scrap, nylon scrap, polypropylene scrap, polyethylene scrap, polyester scrap, HDPE scrap, LDPE scrap, HIPS scrap, ABS scrap, GPPS scrap, PC scrap, PA6 scrap, PMMA scrap, and PET scrap. Our services include toll grinding, metal separation, warehousing, packaging, and baling. Phoenix provides several types of polymers including ABS regrind, HIPS regrind, Polystyrene regrind, PMMA regrind, acrylic regrind, PC regrind, polycarbonate regrind, PA regrind. We also buy and sell nylon regrind, HDPE regrind, LDPE regrind, polyethylene regrind, PP regrind, polypropylene regrind, PET regrind, PBT regrind, and polyester regrind.We have operations in• Columbus, OH - 500,000 sq. ft. facility• Cottontown, TN - 300,000 sq. ft. facility• Greenville, SC - 30,000 sq. ft. facility

- Sales, Marketing and Advertising of our membership to promote their services in warehousing, Distribution, transportation and contract packaging for 52, 3rd party facilities in the domestic area as well as the International Membership.- Assist in costing information necessary to write quotations.- Utilize operations experience in account services, machinery and equipment to operate the various accounts.- Plan and organize annual meetings and conference agendas.- Assist guiding members in the assembly of information for brochures and information to be placed on the Internet and in the membership directory.

As Vice President, implemented warehouse operations and administrative support to meet service and productivity goals.- Developed systems and procedures for operating and managing physical facilities, human resources, equipment and products.- Assisted in the establishment of customer service standards for all accounts and communicated these standards to all personnel.- Maintained company marketing and sales efforts, including planning new account strategies, prospecting for new business, developing and quoting rates, and negotiating and closing sales.- Ensuring warehouse information systems met company objectives and that they facilitated the efficient operations of the warehouse.- Develop and recommend an annual operating budget.- Organized and implemented warehouse safety programs.

- Responsible for total organization and operations of thirty-four (34) distribution centers in the United States and Canada.- Logistical analysis of warehouse site locations.- Transportation cost analysis and control.- Inventory control at all (34) distribution centers.- Maintained and controlled warehouse operational budget for the thirty-four 3rd party and private distribution centers.- Wrote new procedure manual for all field warehouses, to improve the handling of the company's product line in frozen, cooler, and dry, and to improve warehouse communications to increase services- Total operational responsibility of an 8.5 million dollar budget.
