My responsibilities are to derive and implement smart and innovative project solutions and construction programmes for our key clients, their principal consultant partners and specialist vendors.My day to day detailed activities focus on deriving and implementing smart and innovative project solutions and construction programmes for our clients including:• attending client briefings, interpreting complex design and construction documents• visiting client developments to correlate documents to the proposed building asset• derive detailed D&C programmes (Asta), staging plans and options to save time and cost• preparation and submission of detailed fee proposals to respond to client briefs, whilst securing internal sign off by the General Manager and the Managing Director• provide detailed reports, staging plans, methodologies, visual communication documents to simplify complex programmes including project dashboards• regularly review construction programmes and progress update with mitigation measures• prepare monthly invoices to reflect work completed for our clients including variations• undertake business development activities, primarily linked to targeted key clients• attend networking events with professional entities including legal and accountancy firms• attend the weekly BNI Melbourne CBD meetings, which includes complimentary SMEs

As Site Manager, I lead and coordinate a range of construction and development projects from the initial planning stages through to successful project completion, with full accountability for budget management and control.A key part of my role involves building positive relationships with key clients, delivering regular progress reports and ensuring expectations are not only achieved but surpassed. I am also responsible for the leadership of the staff team, including management staff and industry specialists, and work closely with internal teams, consultants and subcontractors to ensure smooth business operations.I report regularly to the senior management team on business performance, delivering recommendations on initiatives to improve service delivery.Key Achievements- Successfully delivering a major contract valued at £6m involving the refurbishment of, demolition and new build of a two storey building. Awarded silver by Considerate Constructors Scheme.- Delivered a £7m project which involves large amounts of structural refurbishment to two Edwardian buildings that are of local interest and new build entrance.

My role involved managing and overseeing daily site operations for a leading construction, services and property group. This required the effective coordination and motivation of sub-contractors, facilitating the delivery of projects on time, within budget and to exacting specifications.I liaised extensively with clients, architects, surveyors, senior management and the general public; dealing with any queries or concerns in a swift and responsive manner. As the Skipper and Instructor I was responsible for ensuring the highest standards of tuition and safety requirements. I taught beginners utilising exceptional communication interpersonal skills, lesson planning to assist and encourage skill development throughout all the roles on the yacht including helming, navigating berthing, and sail handling. I also, coordinated sailing instruction up to 17 boats, including daily briefings including technical yacht briefings, safety matters, navigation and cruise itineraries to the clients.Additional duties included undertaking various manual, electrical and mechanical repairs in addition to responsibility for the procurement and stock control of parts and repair materials when back in port.Successes included; four traverses around the Cape of Good Hope, crossing the Atlantic Ocean, Round the Island Race (Isle of Wight – 3 times), Cowes Week Regatta Racing (Isle of Wight - 3 times) and training role with the ‘Clipper Around the World Crew’ with key client crews.Sailing - Clipper 72ft, Clipper 68ft, Farr 65ft, Beneteau, Jeanneau
