Ahmad Eddeeb is a writer and translator from Alexandria. He studied pharmacy and worked as a science journalist and a technical translator. He works now as a principal reference librarian in the science section at Bibliotheca Alexandrina. He writes short stories and his anthology of short fiction "After-Bedtime Stories" was published in 2014 and republished in 2020. He translated graphic novels like "Batman: Year One", "Batman: The Long Halloween", "Batman: Dark Victory" and "Hellboy Omnibus: Seed of Destruction". He also writes and translates in the fields of science, literature and cinema.أحمد الديب كاتب ومترجم من الإسكندرية. درس الصيدلة وعمل في تدريس العلوم والكتابة والترجمة العلمية، بالإضافة إلى عمله بقسم العلوم في مكتبة الإسكندرية. له كتاب قصصي منشور بعنوان "حكايات بعد النوم" صدر عام 2014 عن دار مدارات وصدرت طبعته الثانية عام 2020 عن دار الشروق. وله ترجمات لروايات مصورة، صدرت عن دار عصير الكتب، منها "باتمان: العام واحد" و"باتمان: الهالوين الطويل" و"باتمان: نصر مظلم" و"هِلبُوي: بذرة الدمار". وله أيضًا مقالات في الثقافة العلمية نُشرَت في موقع "للعلم" (النسخة العربية من ساينتِفِك أمريكان) وغيره، وجُمع معظمها في كتابه "أكوان الحيوان" الذي صدر عام 2023 عن دار عصير الكتب.
