The Commission is a nine member, bipartisan board appointed by the Governor of Massachusetts for the preservation and operation of the Schooner Ernestina, a National Historic Landmark, located in New Bedford, MA. Built in 1894, the Ernestina is the last ship to bring immigrants to the United States under sail from the Cape Verde Islands, and is the official vessel of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. It was donated as a gift to the people of the United States by Cape Verde in 1982.

My current position at State Street has afforded me the many challenges and their well-deserved rewards of accepting Assistant V.P. responsibilities. This endeavor allowed me to gain an irreplaceable foothold and highly valuable experience within the industry. Throughout my tenure in this role, I contributed in the following ways:★ Assisted fund accountants in complex problem solving issues in addition to being responsible for assigned client base, ★ Verified and authorized trades, cash movement and investments, wire transfers, and corporate actions★ Analyzed periodic financial reports including portfolio schedules, accruals, and partner allocations★ Maintained existing client base and developed new business effectively by managing key business relationships★ Promoted and enforced adherence to all company policies and procedures
