KEY ACHIEVEMENTS· Strategic Lead for the Hyndburn Sport and Physical Activity Alliance (SPAA)· Drove the development of a new five-year strategy for the Trust:· Led the turnaround of a £220k deficit to a £20k operating surplus in 2011/12· Secured £700k Arts Council funding to carry out the refurbishment of Oswaldtwistle Civic Theatre· Secured £300k of external funding to refurbish Mercer Hall Leisure Centre · Secured £50k from the ASA to refurbish changing rooms at Hyndburn Leisure Centre · Secured £10k England Squash funding to refurbish 4 squash courts at Hyndburn Leisure Centre· Negotiated an extended 10-year leisure management contract with Hyndburn Borough Council· Introduced a new Feel Good Factory facility in partnership with Alliance Leisure that generated an additional £80k of revenue within the first 12months of operation.
