CurrentManaging staff and volunteers for policy/legal advocacy, coalition building, fundraising:Brightline Defense is a public policy nonprofit dedicated to environmental justice issues, ranging from increased solar access for low-income communities to targeted jobs for underemployed local residents. For its many workforce and environmental policy campaigns, Brightline has convened diverse coalitions of over 100 leaders from forty community groups, labor unions, private companies, think tanks, and government to develop environmental and job strategies. Brightline also cultivates national networks to further forward-thinking environmental and workforce policies at the federal, state, and local levels in diverse geographic areas such as California, Delaware, Tennessee, and New Jersey.
