I absolutely love to code! To me it’s not all about just coding though, I’m also passionate about designing AWS solutions utilizing serverless and/or event driving approaches, depending on the use case of course. Being able to take a problem and solve it in an efficient way is something that gets me excited. One of the joys I get out of being a software developer is knowing that the work I do will make someone else’s life a little bit easier. I started my career fresh out of college on a team that was focused on solving a test data issue. We utilized Node in our solution, and when all was said and done, our solution was able to provide unique data sets to the teams that needed it for end to end testing. Alongside the data fabrication, I was able to write some pretty slick UI automation too. After a successful run of data fabrication I decided it was time for a change of scenery in my career when I made the jump to join a team in R&D. From reading white papers about blockchain, all the way to designing and implementing a production blockchain application, I found out what an entire product lifecycle is all about. Outside of work I enjoy golfing, hiking, and taking moments to just relax.
