Mr. Eddie Bowden has worked for Occidental Oil & Gas in a number of critical positions during the; His initial assignment was as Drilling Superintendent in support of our drilling operations in the Idd El-Shargi (North Dome) Field, offshore Qatar. Eddie's primary responsibilities included daily coordination and supervision of our offshore drilling operations involving as many as four drilling rigs; direct wellsite supervision of critical drilling and/or fishing operations; and material, equipment and personnel logistics.Following Qatar Petroleum's approval of the company's field development plan for Idd El-Shargi (South Dome) Field in early 1999, Eddie was selected to serve as offshore Sr. Drilling Supervisor for implementation of the company's well construction and early production program. This work, performed over a one year period, entailed simultaneous drilling, facilities construction and production in an extremely confined work area, and was successfully executed without a single lost time accident (LTA).
