Enshaa Services Group is a subsidiary of Enshaa PSC, a developer of premium quality projects and a leading hospitality service provider based in the United Arab Emirates. Enshaa's Construction Portfolio includes the Palazzo Versace & D1 Tower Developments at Culture Village, recently completed projects include Emirates Financial Towers in DIFC. Since 2011 when Enshaa acquired 100% ownership of the Dubai Projects of Emirates Sunland Group, my role as IT Manager involved firstly driving the merger/acquisition from a technology perspective and now includes responsibility for the entire IT Function at Enshaa, Enshaa Services Group, Signature Clubs International, Capital Clubs in 3 Countries among others. This covers approximately 250 seats with a team of 7 direct & indirect reports in 3 countries. Since moving to Dubai in 2008, I have delivered & managed a number of high profile projects: numerous Office Fit outs & Data Center relocations, Virtualisation (VMware), Cloud (Office 365 / Google Apps from a variety of systems), Consolidation & Centralization of IT Services, IP Telephony as well as introducing sound IT Management principles in a diverse and constantly changing environment.

Mantra Group (formerly Stella Hospitality Group) is one of Australia and New Zealand's largest accommodation providers with a network of over 110 hotels, resorts and retreats operating under the successful brands of Peppers, Mantra and BreakFree. In 2007, when Mantra Group acquired the Australia-New Zealand portfolio of Outrigger Hotels & Resorts & I played a key role in ensuring the acquisition, re-branding & integration was completed successfully.My role at Stella was split between System Administration & (IT) Property Operations, bringing my years of hospitality experience to a group that spanned more than 100 resorts. During this time I was involved in a number of key projects, including new property openings, technology updates for existing properties, managed a communications audit & carrier change which delivered major cost savings (in excess of $100k p.a.) & was involved in integrating a number of other acquired companies into the group.

Outrigger Hotels & Resorts is an international, well-known brand with over 45 properties throughout the Asia Pacific. Outrigger's head office is located in Hawaii (Outrigger Enterprises Group) and the Australia-New Zealand operations are directed from the Gold Coast, Queensland. During my time at Outrigger, I was responsible for IT Operations at 15+ properties in Australia/New Zealand, managed & implemented projects such as a nationwide secure Private Network, new hotel openings & developing brand standards, a number of major system upgrades & worked closely with our technology partner to dramatically improve the standard of Outsourced IT Support & Administration.The success achieved by the Outrigger Australia Ohana (family) resulted in Outrigger's Australia-New Zealand portfolio being sold to Stella Hospitality in 2007.

I was responsible for reviving & completing a previously failed upgrade to Citrix Metraframe, I replaced or upgraded a number of critical infrastructure components such as PABX, Wireless Infrastructure and resolved major challenges in the areas of Software Licensing, Networking, Property Management System, Golf Club Management, Call Accounting (resulting in a dramatic revenue increase) a Telephony & IT Contract review (resulting in a dramatic cost decrease) and was part of a team that returned the resort to profitability after many years of losses.

Softbrands (formerly Sulcus, Eltrax) is a leader in providing software solutions to the manufacturing and hospitality industries worldwide. My roles at Softbrands were varied giving me a unique & end-to-end grounding in Hospitality Technology. I began in 1999 as a Technical Consultant installing, supporting & maintaining Windows PC's & NetWare servers, PMS & POS Software plus Interfaces for customers, I also managed a number of Y2k upgrade projects. I became familiar with PMS & POS Products, Hotel Systems & on occasion performed entire installations covering all facets of hardware, software, interfaces & training for customers alone. In 2000 I moved to the Singapore Regional Office as Product Manager, learning and bringing new products to the South East (out of Singapore) & North Asia (out of Hong Kong) regions. I was involved in the entire process from Sales Proposals & Product Demonstration to Installation, Support and Training as well as working with the Development Teams based in the US. I also became responsible for account management for a number of major clients and managed relationships with key stakeholders.In 2002 I returned to Australia & continued to work on a contract basis managing & participating in projects in Australia, New Zealand & Japan.
