•Prepare design calculations and technical specifications following prescribed methods, procedures, and software including towers, drums, tanks, pumps, heat exchangers, compressors, fired heaters, filters, process design basis, heat and material balances, utility and chemical summaries, effluent and emission summaries, instruments, interlocks, and relief valves•Prepare, review, and coordinate flowsheet development including PFD, P&ID, DPDT, and MOC•Complete numerous grassroot and revamp PDP and FEED projects for various refining and chemical processes•Complete several off-sites/utilities projects for chemicals, ammonia production, and natural gas liquefaction facilities including flare network analysis, utility and chemical summaries, process specifications, and utility flow diagram development•Create and develop complex process simulation models and detailed heat and material balances•Develop and prepare safety systems including relief valve calculations and specifications and safety interlock descriptions for complex processing units•One of three Technical Core team members tasked with the design and development of calculations and standards for specialized pumps, tank, and pit/pad used in the water reclamation and material handling during the decoking process of a coke drum•Evaluate, select, and apply engineering techniques and methods to projects in combination with client standards and contract information both independently and as part of a team •Expand and share knowledge by teaching/communicating and having open dialog with new engineers and colleagues •Participate in PFD and P&ID review meetings with international clients •Perform on-site performance guarantee test run data collection and analysis of a Delayed Coker Unit located in Saudi Arabia•Review the design calculations and process datasheets of less experienced engineers•Participate in multidisciplinary teams to meet project deliverable deadlines
