Eddie May is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with years of clinical, supervisory, and management experience in community mental health. Eddie specializes in clinical interventions for youth, adults, and families in crisis who have experienced trauma, with focus on anti-oppressive practice. His true passion lies in equity and inclusion work and the intersection of micro and macro practice, specifically in relation to agency and systemic structures. He brings knowledge and experience in implementation of social justice frameworks to systems seeking to embrace culturally affirmative practice.Eddie seeks to generate and hold space for courageous conversations -in session and in the classroom - surrounding intersectional identity, community and individual response to historical/current trauma, and the overarching connection between privilege and power.
